Jayden’s heart may have stopped beating for good when he was rescued from the underworld, but it can still break…

After an ancient Mayan ceremony goes horribly wrong, Jayden is left to face reality—the girl he once loved is pledged to another. At his breaking point, he steals a cab to leave behind the group of enchanted descendants, this time for good.

When Hawa—a beautiful but lethal acquaintance—decides to call shotgun, his only choice is to take her along for the ride.

He’d be glad to have the company…if it were anyone but her. He only knows her by occasionally sharing a hallway in Renato’s huge estate in Belize. It’s clear she has a perma-chip in her shoulder, and they have absolutely nothing in common. So he thinks…

With no cash and nowhere to stay, Hawa leads him into the heart of Guatemala City to an abandoned hotel of orphaned kids. As more of her tainted past is revealed, an unwelcome memory reappears in flesh and blood, threatening to break her wild spirit.

A mysterious orphan is the only one standing between him and the new queen of hell…

Modem, a spunky twelve-year-old girl with a knack for computers, seems to be keeping her eye on Jay. When his abilities go rogue and pull him back to the underworld, Modem shows she’s more than meets the eye. And as everything spirals out of control, Contessa proves no realm is out of reach…

Theresa DaLayne is a north-south-east-western kind of girl with a quirky personality to match her nomad life. Born in California, she migrated to three different cities in Washington State, a tiny island in Alaska, North Carolina, and finally to the suburbs of Ohio where she currently lives with her husband, three kids, vegetarian cat, and her ungrateful fish.

Always on the lookout for a new story, Theresa is a shameless eavesdropper and will take anyone who provides inspiration and mold them into a character without a second thought. She enjoys writing both paranormal and contemporary stories, considering her mind wanders between worlds of fantasy while she’s forced to live in the real world, very much against her will.

Hawa and Jayden take front and center in this segment of this epic tale. Trying to stay ahead of the approaching evil, tragedy touches everyones lives. Although you could read this book as it is, reading it from book one will give you the complete experience as it should be. Not a true standalone tho for it's just the perfect in-between to lead to the next. This glimpse into Hawa's past answers many questions. In Anarchy, we find ourselves with the 4th installment in the Stone Legacy Series, and I find myself falling in love with series even more. Dalayne, has given a world that just drags you in and makes you want more once she captures your attention with her characters.
In this installment, we find ourselves on a journey with two unlikely characters that I didn’t think I could see together with Jayden and Hawa traveling away from the ceremony, when Zanya and Arwin bond together. But after finishing the book and reading what I have the unlikely pair actually makes the best pairs.

Jayden’s soul has been returned from the underworld by Contessa, but everything did not go has expected when he returned. Now that he has watched the girl he loves fall in love with someone else and bond with him Jayden decides to leave the safety of everything he knows right now to be away from it all. But before he gets away, Hawa jumps in after him and becomes his unlikely road companion.

As the two continue on to Guatemala, we learn a lot about Hawa’s past and when Jayden’s power’s get a boost and and he starts seeing a little more of Contessa’s plan will the two be able to continue to be away from the group or will they need their help more than ever?

Anarchy - The Stone Legacy 4 - Theresa DaLayne 4.5 Stars

Another great addition to The Stone Legacy Series, whilst these are all part of an ongoing series and all the characters are linked I love that there are no major cliffhangers, each book concentrates on a different character and their action packed adventurous journey. I'm seriously hoping that eventually all the parts will link up to one amazing grand finale.

This book follows Jayden and Hawa's journey together and the bond they make along their way. Once again Contessa is a rising problem, that ultimately needs to be taken care of. I was really heartbroken at the end of this story, I seriously wanted to know more from Modem - I loved her character.

This is a great YA paranormal series, with a great pace that keeps your attention throughout, I am really looking forward to reading book 5.

I love how each book is about the group but is also about a separate couple.
This book starts with a little of book 3 ending and is about Jayden and Hawa.
Jayden who is still in love with Zanya, even though she has said it will never happen between them, leaves when the gods have bonded her with Arwan.
Hawa joins him so he's not alone.
Jayden is a little different since coming back from the dead. I mean he's alive but not his seeking powers haven't worked right since, and he can't heal right either.
Hawa is snarky always had a comeback for whatever is said, but for some reason knows he doesn't need to be alone at this time.
It's during this time away we see a more softer vulnerable side to her and find out what happened to her before she came to be with the group.
There's so much happening that I don't wanna give anything away but Jayden gets his powers back, they meet a new dream walker, Contessa is do very bad things, and Hawa and Jayden learn they are it for each other.
It's bittersweet, I can't wait for book 5 but I will be sad to see the end of this series.

This review is based on an Advance Reader Copy.

Anarchy revolves around two main characters from the series – Jayden and Hawa and their adventures after they leave the group at the solstice/pairing. To this point in the Stone Legacy series, Hawa has been an unknown in that we have not learned anything of her background prior to being at Renato’s house and being part of the group of Riyatas.

Anarchy provides an examination of Hawa’s background and her friends from this previous time. Along with the background on Hawa another Riyata named Modem who claims to be the “best hacker between the Thirteenth Street Hotel and Fifty-Fourth street”.

There are very few feel good moments in this story, but it serves to highlight just how far Jayden, Hawa, and Modem are willing to go to protect a friend. Anarchy is one of my favorite stories from this series.

If you have read the three previous books in this series, this is a must read. If you are new to the Stone Legacy series, pick up the first and get started, you won’t be sorry.

I was given a copy for an honest review. This is the 4th book in the Stone Legacy Series and you definitely need to read the previous books to completely understand what is going on.

The love of Jayden’s life has been pledged to another and Jayden can’t be around that. He decides to leave and the only way he sees to get out is to steal a cab. Hawa has decided that she can’t stay around either and takes off with him. She takes him to a place she used to stay at, an abandoned hotel in a city. When they arrive, Jayden learns a lot about Hawa’s past. They also come across another person who has special powers. Can they make it out before anything else can go wrong?

The writing is good and the pace is quick. It was over before I realized it and left me with a lot of questions I need answered. I will definitely be checking out the other books in this series and can’t wait to see how it all ends.

Oh Jayden <3 <3
After Lights of Aurora (Book #3) I thought that nothing could have helped my heart ache for Jayden.

This book starts right off where #3 had left, with everything falling in place by Jayden's POV.. Jayden's pain and his reasons for just taking off. Anarchy is all about Jayden and Hawa's adventure and what happens.. This story really surprised me to be honest, Hawa had a rather dark past with things that she clearly didn't work through .. until she takes Jayden back to the "Hotel" forcing her to face all her pain.

Once again we meet new characters.. Modem, I loved her character! but with new characters come more heartache and needing more tissues!

Anarchy is book 4 in the Stone Legacy series by Theresa DaLayne. This installation in the series finds Jayden and Hawa fleeing the safety of their home and diving head-first into Hawa's tangled past in a decrepit sanctuary for the homeless. Upon discovering one of the youth have similar strengths, they plan their extraction until the Contessa is able to capture them.

Anarchy is a quick paced follow-up novel, the main characters, Jayden & Hawa are well-written as strong and conflicted as they try to find their place in the world. I enjoyed the book and thought the action was well done, however I would have liked additional recap from the novels previous as an enhancement to this book.

I am really enjoying this series. In this fourth book you get to see more about Hawa and Jayden, which is very interesting and full of surprises. The pace is fast and you may be done before you know it.

I received an e-ARC of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
